You can have qualified Vessel Safety Examiners from the Auxiliary inspect your boat to ensure that the proper emergency equipment is on board, your navigation lights are adequate, your boat is properly marked, and so on.

If your boat passes, you are awarded a vessel safety sticker that can be displayed prominently. If there is something amiss, there is no citation or penalty (Auxiliarists do not have law enforcement authority). You can fix the problem and have your boat re-examined.

Vessel Safety Checks are carried out at marinas, parks, and boat launches, often as part of a day-long "blitz". Many examiners are happy to make individual appointments as well.

There is no charge for a Vessel Safety Check. Contact us to find out more.
